The location we went on the second day for shooting outdoor with darkbox is a wonderfull place: Abbaye de Châalis.

Quinn Jacobson opening exhibition in Paris

Last year, I had the pleasure to assist Keliy Anderson-Staley who has been commissioned to photograph Paris for CondeNast Traveller, an american travel magazine.

For this  picture, I used a nice 8in Darlot petzval lens which is supposed to cover 4x5, but covers much more at close-up distance. f:4, 12sec

Exposition à la PhotoAcadémie Eindoven 14-15 avril

A l'initiative de Alex Timmermans, photographe hollandais, je participe à une exposition collective à la photoacademie de Eindoven, en compagnie de plusieurs collodionistes, russe, hollandais et américain.
Des tirages papiers seront exposés le mois précédent le week-end du 14-15 avril où seront exposées les plaques originales.
Luther Gerlach animera une "master class" et nous ferons des démonstrations et prises de vue au collodion humide.
Pour ma part, j'exposerai des ambrotypes 50x50cm et une série de chimères 30x30cm
